About Us

D3-Hub is a BIM and Data-Driven Design consultancy. Behind the brand is a close-knit group of engineers and architects who have worked together for six years on complex projects, combining coordination, modelling, automation and data-analysis skills.

We support design firms, contractors and clients across the whole information process: interdisciplinary coordination and clash detection, common data environment (CDE) management, automation and custom add-in development (Revit API, Dynamo), model-based quantity take-off, and training for in-house teams.

We work to the ISO 19650 and UNI 11337 standards, adopting their framework end to end — from the information requirements to the BIM Execution Plan. The group includes two UNI 11337-certified BIM Managers (one also PRINCE2-certified in project management, with a specialisation in Data Analysis and Computational Design), two UNI 11337-certified BIM Coordinators, and an architectural-modelling specialist.

Over six years working together we have delivered projects across a wide range of sectors — architecture and interiors, healthcare (hospitals and community-care centres), infrastructure, steel/concrete/composite structures, and building services — in Italy and on international commissions (Switzerland, Spain, the United States, the Middle East, Kazakhstan, Argentina).

In their professional careers the group's members have collaborated, in various roles, with leading firms — among them Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Matteo Thun & Partners, ACPV Architects, Archea Associati, Lissoni & Partners, Saipem, Ghella and Lombardi Engineering.

What sets us apart is our focus on data: we treat the model not as a drawing but as an information base to be queried and optimised. Our Clash Report case study shows this approach applied to sixteen months of coordination.
